For the rental of any service available on our website, we cannot guarantee availability at least 72 hours in advance.

The rental period of our equipment is flexible and can be adapted to the customer’s needs, as long as the equipment is available for the requested dates.

For rentals lasting more than five days, we recommend that you contact our store directly via our general email address so that we can provide you with information on applicable discounts.

Yes, you can change your rental reservation at least 12 hours in advance. To do so, please contact us directly via our email.

We ask that you inform us as soon as possible of any changes so that we can adjust our schedule and ensure that the equipment is available for the new dates and times requested.

Both the collection and return of the equipment is the responsibility of the customer and must be done at our facilities – Rua Aristides de Sousa Mendes, Armazém 69, 8005-178 Montenegro – Faro.

The customer can pick up the equipment the day before the event, and must return it on the first working day after the event date. Should there be an unforeseen need for a longer rental period, the customer should contact us so that we can discuss the options available.

The equipment must be returned in the same condition as it was picked up. The customer is responsible for any damage or loss of equipment during the rental period – as stipulated in the Term of Liability for Rental of Audiovisual Equipment.

Equipment Verification: All equipment that Algarve Film Rentals rents is professional grade equipment. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to test and check the equipment when renting it. Algarve Film Rentals is not responsible for configurations that have not been previously tested in our facilities.

Prior to picking up the equipment, the person responsible will be asked to sign a Term of Responsibility for Rental of Audiovisual Equipment, which stipulates the conditions of use and responsibilities during the rental period.

If the equipment is damaged during the rental period, the customer will be responsible for the repair or replacement of the equipment – as stipulated in the Term of Responsibility. The customer should contact us immediately to report any damage or problem with the rented equipment.

Yes, we offer delivery and assembly services for equipment rental. We have an equipment van and shuttle service available to take rented equipment to the event or production site.

To request the delivery and assembly service, simply contact us via the general store email at least 72 hours in advance.

The delivery and assembly service is subject to availability, so it is recommended to make your request early enough to ensure that we can meet your needs.

An additional fee will be charged for the delivery and assembly service, which will be provided with the equipment rental quote.

Yes, we can provide on-site technical support during your event. Algarve Film Rentals has a highly qualified and experienced team of technicians and operators of audio, image and lighting equipment, who can provide technical and operational support.

To ensure the quality and reliability of the equipment we rent, we adopt some important measures, such as:

  1. Purchase of equipment from renowned brands – our equipment is purchased from manufacturers recognized for the quality of their products.
  2. Inspection and maintenance – we carry out regular inspections on all equipment, before and after each rental, to ensure they are in good working order. We also carry out preventive maintenance to avoid future problems.
  3. Replacement of defective equipment – if any equipment has a defect or technical problem, it is immediately withdrawn from circulation and replaced with another in perfect condition.
  4. Staff training and qualification – our team of technicians are trained and qualified to handle and operate all equipment safely and efficiently.

Payment can be made:

  • By bank transfer, before collecting the equipment or providing any service.
  • Payment in cash when picking up the equipment.
  • Credit Card, before the equipment is picked up or any service is provided.

Yes, we offer discounts for long-term equipment rentals.

  2. Filmmaker Pack – designed for more practical filming.
  3. Studio Pack – designed for anyone looking to produce podcasts, interviews, or any other project that requires a studio.

Our cancellation policy for equipment rental is as follows:

  • Cancellations made at least 72 hours (three days) prior to the start of the rental period will not incur a cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start of the rental period are subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the total rental amount.

Our cancellation policies may vary depending on the specific rental situation and circumstances.

Yes, just visit our website at www.algarvefilmrentals.pt and select the equipment you want to rent. Before checkout, unit and final prices will be available before the booking is confirmed. The final total amount will correspond to your final booking price.

The only tax you should take into account when renting equipment from Algarve Film Rentals is the VAT (Value Added Tax) rate – 23%, applied to the rental of equipment, services and studios.

The prices provided on our website do not include VAT. The fee will be provided at checkout, before confirming the rental.

We do not charge any other additional fees or costs unless specifically stated at the time of booking or agreed between Algarve Film Rentals and the client.
