In 2012, New Light Pictures emerged, which would later become one of the largest production companies in the Algarve. Based in Faro, New Light Pictures began with fiction and film projects and later advertising films.
Over the years, our production company has become one of the benchmarks in the south of the country when it comes to producing advertising films. In 2022, the project “The Majestic Adventures of Ofélia da Fé”, produced and realized in partnership with the creative agency KOBU, was awarded in the category of best tourism product film in the world circuit of CIFFT (International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals).
Our production company’s concern has always been to demonstrate professionalism and produce excellence. To do this, we have invested in high-quality equipment and built up a full inventory for all our needs. In the process, we realized that the Algarve was facing a lack of supply in the audiovisual rental market.
In order to help the Algarve grow as a cultural region, we developed Algarve Film Rentals, a company specialized in the rental of audiovisual equipment, services and technicians, also located in Faro, Algarve. Our goal is to offer equipment solutions to bring to life the creativity of all our customers and to respond to the needs of the Algarve market.
We are a professional team with an extensive catalog of imaging, lighting, sound, machinery and studio equipment.
